Office 2.0 Conference

I gave a customer testimonial presentation today in San Francisco at the Office 2.0 Conference on behalf of Smartsheet, a tool - and company - we use and like at Animoto. Over the next several weeks I hope to blog a bit more about the tools, services and partners we’ve used to get to where we are. Smartsheet is an online productivity tool that we use to manage all our operational tasks at Animoto in order to keep our geographically disbursed team and board on the same page. It gives us the appropriate MS Project sophistication but makes online collaboration simple, both at the sheet and task level.

I’m offering an Animoto video to pump a little more energy into the conference for tomorrow; I suggest that all the sponsors play this Animoto video at top volume at your demo booth:

  2. It was an ok video, but I dont like rap, I like Rock, and some metal.

  3. Animoto is amazing, can’t wait for “download to disk” is available, is there an ETA on that?

  4. (sorry i don’t know where write this)

The software is cool and i want to buy a credit, but the Google checkout system doesn’t list méxico as an option!!!!

We’re working on building out our music lounge and plan to offer many more songs in the future. That said, in the meantime, I recommend you check out some Creative Commons music as I’m sure you’ll find some good Rock and Metal there that you can use on Animoto.

We’re working on the download to disk feature and hope to have it available in October.

We’re also not happy that Google Checkout doesn’t accept Mexican currency. We’ve communicated this to the folks at Google so we’ll see what happens there. In the meantime, we’re using PayPal as a work-around. Send an email to contact@animoto.com and let us know the number of video credits you’d like to purchase (US$3/video) or if you’d like to purchase an annual All-Access pass (US$30/yr) and we’ll send you an invoice through PayPal.
