Animoto selected as a SXSW Awards finalist

We’re very pleased to announce that Animoto has been selected as a SXSW (South by Southwest) 2008 Web Award finalist! Their mission is “to uncover the best new websites from around the world and celebrate those who are building and implementing tomorrow’s online trends”.

As you can imagine, this has everyone at Animoto pretty freakin’ excited. We’re in the company of some incredible sites, so we’re very honored.

The judges will ultimately decide the official winners, but they apparently also have a People’s Choice awards. So if you happen to be a fan of Animoto… why not vote for us.

Also, if you’re planning on attending SXSW 2008 (March 7-16 in Austin, TX) definitely let us know. We’d love to see you. We’ll be there presenting our stuff and making a few announcements.
