My bad. That should actually read the other way around. “Amazon.com funds Animoto.” They are, after all, just slightly bigger than us.

Here’s the official press release.

With our new funds, we plan to grow our team in NYC and SF, establish our video creation platform, develop new cool products, and continue innovating in this area of “Cinematic Artificial Intelligence.” We have a bazillion things in mind that we can’t wait to get to.

We also plan to upgrade our fridge from PBR to Coors Light.
