Improved DVD-quality videos

We’ve put a bunch of effort into improving the quality of our DVD-quality videos… both the downloadable MP4’s and downloadable ISO’s.  We also fixed some viewing-format issues the burnable ISO files were having with certain DVD players & screens.

Improvement highlights:
• DVD-quality MP4s: 50% higher bitrate with much better encoding settings
• DVD-quality ISO’s: 75% higher bitrate; increases quality when played on large screens
• DVD-quality ISO’s: new widescreen flags; increase compatibility & auto-detection across DVD players

  4. Shame we can benefit from this on PAL DVD players. Or even play Animoto DVD’s reliably on PAL DVD players.
